Eric Stafford is 28 year old west-valley native, and American political candidate running in Arizona's 29th legislative district for the Arizona State Senate since 2022. Stafford was born in Phoenix, Arizona and grew up in Goodyear, Arizona and is currently studying to become a medical assistant.^[1]^[2]

While in high school, he was dual enrolled in West-MEC and graduated with his Airframe and Powerplant certification at 19.^[1] He later studied Manual and CNC machining, and eventually Veterinary Technology from Pima Medical Institute in 2018.

His career experience includes working as an aviation mechanic, machinist, vet tech, and political organizer on U.S. Senator Mark Kelly’s campaign.^[3]

Elections

2024 state senate run

Stafford ran unopposed in his 2024 Primary and advanced from the Democratic primary for Arizona State Senate District 29 on July 30, 2024. He went on to be defeated by Republican Janae Shamp in the general election.^[4]
