The Ender Dragon is a fictional creature in the game Minecraft and it is the boss mob of the game. Defeating the Ender Dragon is usually considered the ultimate goal of Minecraft. The Ender Dragon spawns in a dimension called the End.

Strategy

There are numerous ways to defeat the Ender Dragon.

Accessing the End

Defeating the Ender Dragon requires access to the End through strongholds. Strongholds spawn underground throughout the world. The strongholds must be activated by placing twelve eyes of ender.

Fighting the Dragon

The Dragon spews toxic gas on the island and can fly and destroy nearly all blocks. Most people use bows or beds to kill the dragon.

Afterwards

Once the fight is complete, the player has the option to return to the Overworld and play the End Poem and credits, or explore the other islands in the End.
