EDP Watch (stylized as EDP WATCH) is an online predator-catching documentary series created by American YouTuber JiDion.[3]

Premise

Inspired by the allegations of EDP445 talking to minors and subsequent sting operations conducted by Jidon Adams,[4] EDP Watch features Adams (often goes by the name, JiDion, DeMarcus Cousins III, among others, in the episodes) and his camera crew going around to different U.S. states to conduct amateur sting operations on child predators, who are then often arrested by local authorities.[3][5] To "catch" the predators, Adams often impersonates minors on dating apps to gain their attention. Once Adams gains a lead, he arranges meetings with the predators where he either convinces them to turn themselves to the police station, or has them arrested by authorities if they don't comply.

EDP Watch is primarily funded by supporters through Adams' site, edpwatch.com, which includes longer, uncensored videos, merch deals, and full access to phone and chatlogs.[3]

Notable "predator catches"

In November 2023, Adams created a decoy Facebook Messenger profile to communicate with Bryan Brown, a 34-year-old man who believed he was talking to an 11-year-old girl, "Mandy".[6][7] The resulting video went viral, receiving nearly 3 million views. Brown was arrested by the police department of Marshalltown, Iowa, and pleaded guilty to one felony count of sexual grooming in June 2025.

In May 2026, following an investigation by the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office and ICAC, Mason Isaac Hull was arrested after detectives obtained a warrant and charged him with 15 counts of possession of CSAM.[9] Hull was returned to jail after a judge revoked his bond for allegedly violating release conditions that barred internet and social media use.[10][11] Adams released the episode surrounding this "catch", I Caught A Famous TikToker Buying Cp! (HULLO), on May 12, 2026.[12] Adams teamed up with Alex Rosen from Predator Poachers in this episode.

Vigilante criticism

Adams' online predator–catching activities have drawn criticism from law enforcement officials due to the independent vigilantism being performed. In August 2025, Adams confronted an Indiana volleyball coach whom he accused of sending explicit messages to a person he believed was a 14-year-old boy.[13] During the confrontation, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) stated that they did not have sufficient probable cause to make an immediate arrest.[14]

Following the incident, IMPD said information from vigilante groups cannot be used on its own to make an arrest and that evidence has to be gathered through legal procedures for it to hold up in court.[15] With concerns from prosecutors in Indiana saying these kinds operations could get in the way of investigations and make them harder to prosecute.[16]

In March 2025, Adams orchestrated an independent sting operation against 34-year-old using a decoy created by Falcon Pursuit Coalition, who partnered with Adams in the episode.[17] The sting took place at a local Walmart in Albany, Oregon, the man was ultimately arrested by the Albany Police Department due to an outstanding warrant, not the sting itself. Shortly after, one of the arresting officers criticized Adams for engaging in unauthorized law enforcement activities that "created a danger in [the] community".[18]

The Sick Mind of EDP445 documentary

The Sick Mind of EDP445 is an upcoming documentary directed by Mike Clum about Bryant Moreland, better known as EDP445, and his online controversies surrounding his own predator stings, the most popular of which being JiDion's 2023 sting.[19][4] The documentary includes YouTubers such as Charlie White (penguinz0), Jidon Adams (JiDion), and Alex Rosen (Predator Poachers).
