Draft:EC MARV

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

EC Marv is an American rapper and artist from Cleveland, Ohio. He began seriously releasing music in 2015 through distribution sites like tunecore.com and gained recognition through his independent releases and presence in the Cleveland music scene. His music includes elements of hip-hop and R&B, with songs often drawing from personal experiences and his life in East Cleveland.

East Cleveland is the ghetto part of Cleveland. He grew up off graham and Hayden where he attended all East Cleveland school like chambers, Mayfair and prospect up until his mom got a good enough job at the RTA which is a bus company to move him to a suburban city called south Euclid where he began his eight grade school year but it didn’t last 2 months he was in multiple fights and was expelled for getting oral sex performed on him by another young lady who attended the memorial middle school.

The start of 9th grade he had already been transferred back to SHAW HIGH in his hometown East Cleveland. In his eyes the plan to be bad and fight everyday at memorial middle school had paid off.

EC Marv released his debut EP, 5 for 4, in 2016, followed by the album Before the Fame later that year. He continued his discography with projects including Cleveland on the Map (2017), Lemarv James (2018), Before the Fame 4 (2019), Beat da Odds (2021), and It's Forever Up (2022). His biggest songs today are “That’s my best friend” and “Nah FR” and a smooth melodic track where he raps about being shot in his hometown of EAST CLEVELAND called “They tried it” where he brags that he’s still doing well and the shooting didn’t phase him.

He had gained a lot of notoriety for being the top street rapper to rise from Cleveland in almost 2 decades. It’s other street rappers but nobody was close to the level of EC MARV. On December 27,2016 the rapper was asked by multiple fans to make an appearance at beach wood mall and once he did it turned into a flash mob type party and fans recorded videos and took pictures with him. It was so massive multiple news outlets picked up on it.

EC MARV was no question the hottest rapper in the city it was like the city djs wanted to black ball him to show they had a little power they did that by leaving him off the summer jam concert. He quickly responded that same night with a diss track titled “summer jam” referencing the facts of the summer jam situation letting them know he don’t need them and he’s the biggest. That same night summerjam ended they played his song “THATS MY BESTFRIEND” on the radio z.1079 that’s why that situation became confusing to the city.

EC MARV decided it was best to leave the city after making so much money and reaching the highest height of fame he could reach living in Cleveland,Ohio he and his long time girlfriend he met and shared one daughter with named KAMARIA and a step daughter named SKYLAR who was 1 years old at the time he met KIANA.

MARVIN aka EC MARV has officially married Kiana making her his wife Kiana Williams after 8 long years of dating. They now live in Las Vegas, Nevada where they now share four daughters two that they had in LAS VEGAS Kamryn Williams who’s a 6 year old boxer in Las Vegas,Nevada and often post videos training with her dad and the youngest KENNEDI WILLIAMS who he refers to as momma.

He still releases music from time to time but for now it’s mainly family time and family post. He’s one of the few to successfully make it out.
