Duvo was co-founded by Czech serial entrepreneur Tomáš Čupr, who is also the founder and CEO of the European online grocer Rohlik Group (a unicorn company).[9][1][4] The other co-founders are Marek Paris (Chief Product and Technology Officer, CPTO) and Martin Pecha (Chief Operating Officer, COO), both of whom held senior operational roles at Rohlik.[7][4]

The company's genesis stemmed from the founders' experience with operational problems in retail, such as the need for people to manually move data between fragmented systems like SAP, supplier portals, email, and spreadsheets.[4] Čupr noted that Duvo was created to eliminate operational bottlenecks that traditional IT automation or consulting projects often fail to handle due to their complexity and exception-heavy nature.[7] The goal was to deploy an AI workforce that would allow employees to focus on more demanding tasks than monotonous digital and phone-based tasks.

Funding

In 2025, Duvo raised $15 million in a seed funding round.[10][2][3][4][11][12]

The funding round was led by Index Ventures (with partner Jan Hammer leading the investment),[7] with participation from Credo Ventures, Northzone, and Puzzle Ventures.[4] Notable angel investors included Roy Reznik (co-founder of Wiz), David Singleton (former CTO of Stripe), Ajay Kavan (Amazon veteran), and Kieran Flanagan (former CMO of Zapier).[4]
