Dmitry Khanukov is a technology entrepreneur and artificial intelligence specialist known as the co-founder and chief technology officer of Dwelly, a UK-based AI-enabled lettings and property management company.[1][2][3]

Education

Khanukov holds a master's degree in applied informatics with a specialization in artificial intelligence from Saint Petersburg State University.[4]

He also completed the Stanford University Engineering Leadership Program in 2024–2025.[5][6]

Career

Early ventures

According to public profiles, Khanukov was chief executive officer of Aquarely from 2009 to 2011 and founded ZEST.TO in 2010.[7] In 2013, he launched SmartRooms.[8]

From 2015 to 2018, he worked at Uber.[9] He later co-founded PIK Rent, also known as PIK-Arenda, a real estate lettings marketplace, where he served as founder and chief technology officer from 2018 to 2021.[10][11]

Khanukov later served as chief executive officer of Galateo from 2021 to 2023.[12] In 2023, he co-founded GoGlobal, a platform connecting entrepreneurs and investors.[13][14]

Dwelly

In 2024, Khanukov co-founded Dwelly with Ilya Drozdov and Dan Lifshits.[15] He became the company's chief technology officer and has been responsible for its technology strategy and AI-related product development.[16]

Dwelly was launched as an AI-powered lettings and property management platform in the United Kingdom.[17][18]

During Dwelly's growth, the company acquired Lime Property in 2024, adding around 1,000 properties to its portfolio.[19] Later in 2024, Dwelly completed another acquisition and expanded further in the UK lettings market.[20]

Khanukov has written and commented publicly on entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence. He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council[21] and has published commentary on startup execution and AI-related topics.[22][23]
