2 3 4 DeGraaf Interiors is an American family-owned flooring retailer based in West Michigan. Founded by Daryll DeGraaf in 1993, the company serves residential and commercial markets. Daryll DeGraaf's children, Deb DeGraaf and Dean DeGraaf, later became the company's owners and co-presidents. 5 6

[edit]7 8 DeGraaf Interiors was founded in 1993 by Daryll DeGraaf. Deb DeGraaf began working in the business shortly after its establishment, initially helping with paperwork before moving into showroom sales and sales management. 9 10 Daryll DeGraaf retired in 2006. Deb DeGraaf subsequently began purchasing the business and became its president. Her brother, Dean DeGraaf, became her business partner. A later industry profile reported that the siblings owned the company outright and served as co-presidents. 11 12 In November 2010, DeGraaf Interiors opened its third store. By 2013, the company was described as a residential and commercial flooring and carpet business with three locations in West Michigan. 13 14 The company later consolidated its retail operations from three stores to two. A 2023 industry profile reported that the consolidation was intended to allow the company to focus on its remaining locations. The company also expanded its corporate office and warehouse. 15 16

Dean DeGraaf has been associated with the development and leadership of the company's commercial business, while Deb DeGraaf has been associated with its residential operations. 19 20 As of 2023, the company operated two stores in the Grand Rapids, Michigan, area and is a member of the National Floorcovering Alliance. 21 22

Floor Covering News reported in 2026 that she had served as chair of the World Floor Covering Association and the Floor Covering Education Foundation. 27 28
Recognition
[edit]29 30 In 2013, DeGraaf Interiors was a finalist for a regional Top Women Owned Business award in the category for businesses with revenue of $7 million or more. 31 32 In 2026, Floor Covering News included Deb DeGraaf in its 40 Women to Watch feature, which recognized women working in flooring manufacturing, retail and distribution. 33 34
