David Passmore (born 15 June 1967) is an English field hockey coach who has been serving as the head coach of the United States women's national field hockey team since August 2022.[1] Before joining the United States program, he held prominent international coaching and development roles with the national teams of Great Britain, England, and Ireland, including serving as the head coach and high-performance director of the Ireland men's national team.[2][3]
During his tenure with the United States, Passmore oversaw a significant squad restructuring that led the team to successfully qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.[4] Under his leadership, the national team also secured qualification for the 2026 Women's FIH Hockey World Cup.[5]
