  • Comment: I've looked at this several times now. I checked with scopus and google scholar. Coverage available in article and discovered by WP:BEFORE is insufficient to pass WP:BIO or WP:ACADEMIC. scope_creepTalk 10:16, 23 May 2026 (UTC)

  • Comment: At this point, I do not think that the topic has enough coverage to qualify for a Wikipedia article. I would suggest to wait for or find a couple of pieces in authoritative journals and/or magazines. Aeon Sentinel (talk) 18:55, 15 December 2025 (UTC)

  • Comment: Sources need culling; most of the sources are not independent of the subject. Wikipedia doesn't care about what a subject has to say about himself by citing his own work, what matters more is coverage by sources independent of the subject. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:00, 7 August 2025 (UTC)

Cyril Voyant, French physicist and research director at Mines Paris-PSL University (O.I.E., Sophia Antipolis) and affiliated researcher at the University of Corsica.

Cyril Voyant (born 6 October 1977) is a French physicist working as research director at Mines Paris – PSL University and is also affiliated with the University of Corsica[1][2] has been appointed visiting professor at the University of Kragujevac (Faculty of Engineering)[3].

His work covers solar radiation forecasting, renewable energy modelling, scientometrics and applications in medical physics.[4][5][6][7][8][9] He has published on the integration of artificial intelligence methods into solar radiation and renewable energy forecasting, notably through the review paper “Machine learning methods for solar radiation forecasting: A Review”, which has received more than 1,500 citations[10].

Over a twenty years career in the field[11], he has taken part in several national and European research programmes, including the ANR SAPHIR,[12] the Horizon 2020 TILOS[13] projects and the Carnot Mines ELECTRE programme[14] on the electrification of energy uses. He has also collaborated with several universities, such as the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kragujevac[15]. He has served as an external expert for research funding organisations, such as the Swiss National Science Foundation.

In 2010 and 2012, he received the EU PVSEC Award[16] and the Prix de l'Accademia Corsa.[17] Ten years later, he was included in Stanford University list of the top 2% most cited scientists in energy and engineering.[18] One of his papers on radiotherapy dose modelling appeared in Nature "Top 100 in Cancer" list for 2024.[19]
