Charu Gandhi is a London-based architect and interior designer, and the founder and director of interior design studio Elicyon.[1][2][3][4]

Early Life & Education

Gandhi was born in Delhi, India. She attended boarding school in Singapore before moving to the United Kingdom in 1997 to study at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London.[2]

Career

Gandhi began her career in architecture, working on residential and large-scale projects at the firm Allies & Morrison.[5] She later joined the property development company Candy & Candy,[6] where she focused on private residential commissions, notably at One Hyde Park in London.[5]

In 2014, Gandhi founded the design studio Elicyon, an interior design studio and BIID Registered Design Practice,[7] specialising in high-end projects for private clients and developers in the UK and internationally.[1][5]

Gandhi’s work has been featured in publications including the Financial Times, Architectural Digest, Vogue, The Telegraph and ELLE.[1][2][8][9][10]

Work & Style

Gandhi’s studio has worked on a range of high-end residential, commercial and hospitality projects, including developments such as Chelsea Barracks in London, The Old War Office Residences in Westminster, and international private residences at One Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.[11][12][13]
