CareLineLive is a British health technology company that develops software for home care agencies. The system is used to manage administrative tasks such as visit scheduling, electronic care records and staff coordination. The company was founded in 2014 by Josh Hough.
History
[edit]In 2021, Homecare Insight reported that CareLineLive secured £1.2 million in funding led by Haatch Ventures for expansion purposes.[1] The outlet also reported that the company received a £175,000 Innovate UK grant that year for work on remote-monitoring technology.[2]
In 2023, FinSMEs reported that CareLineLive closed a £3 million funding round led by Oakglen to support further development and expansion.[3]
Later in 2023, CareLineLive acquired the CareFor IT and Ulysses (UDMS) platforms. Trade publications noted that this expanded the company’s presence in the UK home care software sector.[4][5]
Products
[edit]Trade and government materials describe CareLineLive as providing software for home care agencies, including tools for rostering, electronic care records and reporting.[6] A mobile application is available for care workers, and a web-based portal is used for management tasks.
Standards and compliance
[edit]According to its G-Cloud 14 documentation, CareLineLive meets several recognised compliance standards, including NHSx Digital Social Care Record assured supplier status, the NHS Data Security Protection Toolkit, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.[6]
