BuyVia is a mobile application and comparison shopping website on consumer electronics, clothes, home, and other items. It was founded by Norman Fong and Lawrence Fong. The BuyVia app is available for both iOS and Android (operating system). The company is headquartered in San Mateo, CA.

BuyVia can synchronize shopping data to a user's Smartphone, Tablet and to their website. This service includes geo-located deals and coupons, curated deals from the Internet, and alerts when products fall in price.[1][2]

History

The buyvia.com website and mobile app were launched in 2012 and helped shoppers compare many products including tablets.[3] BuyVia became an essential Black Friday shopping app. [4]

BuyVia was listed as "Best Price Comparison Websites and Apps (2026) by Shopify.[5]

BuyVia App won the Horizon Interactive Award in 2014.[6]

BuyVia App was a Top 10 Black Friday Shopping Tip in 2025[7]
