Brity Works is an enterprise collaboration software suite developed by Samsung SDS. The suite combines corporate e-mail, instant messaging, video meetings, cloud file storage and generative artificial intelligence tools, marketed as Brity Mail, Brity Messenger, Brity Meeting, Brity Drive and Brity Copilot.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Samsung SDS's current English-language materials describe Brity Works as a collaboration platform deployed across Samsung and marketed to enterprise customers.[1][7]
History
[edit]Samsung SDS introduced Brity in 2017 as an enterprise AI platform for business customers. Korea JoongAng Daily reported that the system had been tested on 400,000 employees at Samsung affiliates before launch.[8]
By 2020, Korean press coverage described Samsung SDS's remote-collaboration software under the name Nexoffice. Segye Ilbo reported during the COVID-19 pandemic that the software was being used across Samsung's global workforce and had been made temporarily available to outside companies.[9] Samsung SDS's current English-language product pages present Brity Works as the current umbrella name for its enterprise collaboration suite.[1][7]
Independent design-award records suggest an evolutionary path across several Samsung SDS workplace-collaboration products. The UX Design Awards listed Knox Meeting in 2018 and an enterprise portal app for remote workers in 2021.[10][11] The iF Design Award lists Brity Mail as launched in 2021 and Brity Meeting Agent as launched in 2025.[12][13]
Samsung SDS told Yonhap News Agency in 2019 that it was seeking to broaden business beyond Samsung affiliates, especially in cloud and enterprise solutions, and Reuters reported in 2026 that the company was strengthening its artificial-intelligence business and overseas expansion.[14][15]
Products and features
[edit]Samsung SDS describes Brity Works as an integrated suite consisting of e-mail and approvals (Brity Mail), enterprise messaging (Brity Messenger), video conferencing (Brity Meeting), cloud document storage (Brity Drive), and a generative-AI assistant (Brity Copilot).[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Official product pages state that the software is used by approximately 500,000 Samsung employees worldwide.[1][2][3]
Adoption and reception
[edit]Samsung SDS markets Brity Works both as an internally deployed collaboration system and as a commercial enterprise product.[1][7] In 2023, Brity Mail received an iF Design Award in the User Experience category.[12] In 2026, Brity Meeting Agent also received an iF Design Award.[13]
Samsung SDS announced in 2024 that its AI management system had received ISO/IEC 42001 certification covering generative-AI services including Brity Copilot.[16]
Other uses
[edit]The word Brity is also used in the United Kingdom by Brity Group Ltd, which states on its official website that it owns UK trade mark registration UK00004330330 for first-aid courses and related services, and that the company is registered in England and Wales under company number 15990080.[17]
