Draft:Brandon Stacy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brandon Stacy is an American actor and producer. He portrayed Levi Sumner in the second season of Outer Range and Spock in the fan-produced web series Star Trek: New Voyages.[1][2] His film roles include Sam in Phin, David in Rabid Love, and George in Sunday Girl.[3][4][5]

Career

[edit]

Stacy appeared in the second season of Outer Range as Levi Sumner, the abusive father of the young Royal Sumner. In its recap of the episode "Ode to Joy", Decider discussed Stacy's character and identified his death as the event that led Royal to enter the void.[1]

Stacy played Sam in the independent film Phin. Reviewing the film for Behind the Lens, Debbie Lynn Elias discussed the warmth of Stacy's performance and his portrayal of the relationship between Sam and his brother.[3] A review by Mark Bell for Film Threat also discussed Stacy's performance and the development of Sam's relationship with Phin.[6]

He played David in the horror film Rabid Love. A review published by HorrorNews.net discussed both the reserved and threatening aspects of his performance.[4]

In the independent romantic comedy Sunday Girl, Stacy played George, the on-and-off boyfriend ultimately chosen by the film's protagonist.[5][7] A review published by Film Authority included Stacy among the supporting actors whose performances brought the film's characters to life.[8]

From 2011 to 2016, Stacy portrayed Spock in the fan-produced web series Star Trek: New Voyages, also known as Star Trek: Phase II.[9][10] Public radio station WMUK identified Stacy, Brian Gross, and Jeff Bond as the series' performers in the roles of Spock, Kirk, and McCoy, respectively.[2] ComicBook.com also included Stacy in its survey of actors who have portrayed Spock, noting that he succeeded Jeffery Quinn in the role.[11]

In 2026, Stacy acted in and served as a producer on the short science-fiction drama Limit Exceeded, directed by Setareh Samandari. The film screened at the Laemmle Monica Film Center and was included in the Glendale International Film Festival program.[12][13]
