BluePoint Alert Solutions started in 2013 they had a simple idea, a rapid response system, featuring police alarms, which used the same molds as fire alarms, using blue plastic instead of red, featuring activation devices, and alarm devices, The alarms were manufactured by System Sensor, and Fire-Lite, both being owned by Honeywell, the devices are mainly used in areas where there is a higher risk of danger.[1]
The beginning
[edit]The founder John Mcnutt, had the idea in 2013 for a new security system that would warn people of potential threats and send help, so he started the company licensed as: BluePoint Alert Solutions LLC and after a short period of time, the company grew, sources say the alarms have saved thousands of lives.
Devices
[edit]Neck Worn: in case of an emergency these were worn, the person would press the button on it, and it would send help depending on the type it was (police or medical)
Manual Activation: in this list there are 3 pull station types, police, medical, and hazmat spill, pulling one of these if they were in a system would dispatch the corresponding emergency services required or needed
Alerting: strobe devices, would be located by the company, alongside the activation devices (visual only alarms), optional voice alerting could be achieved with speakers (not supplied by the company)
