BerriBlue is a Polish street artist known for ceramic and azulejo works installed in public space.[1][2]
Career
[edit]BerriBlue began working in street art in the early 2010s, initially producing paste-up works before later focusing on ceramic tiles and azulejo techniques. She has worked extensively in Portugal, where she developed her ceramic practice, and has installed works in cities across Europe.[1]
Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in the Florence Biennale XIV[3] and Vietri Sul Mare[4] in Italy, and in Poland[5][6] and Portugal.[7]
An online street art database lists multiple public installations attributed to BerriBlue in European cities.[8]
In 2024, BerriBlue moved from Porto back to Warsaw.[9]
Style and themes
[edit]BerriBlue works primarily with ceramic tiles, using hand-applied glazes and etched surfaces inspired by traditional azulejo techniques.[2] In interviews, she has described an interest in working with durable materials in public space and in adapting her work to architectural context.[1][10]
Commentary on her work has noted recurring figurative motifs and symbolic imagery, often drawing on personal and cultural references.[9]

In Poland, she has been profiled in national press, including interviews published by Gazeta.pl and Wysokie Obcasy.[12]
