Balu Narayanan is an Indian film director and screenwriter from Palakkad, Kerala. He has worked in various capacities in the Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada film industries.
Career
[edit]He began his career in 2013 as a script assistant in Kochi. His notable works include providing the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the Tamil film Puthusaa Naan Porandhen (2016). He contributed dialogues and additional screenplay for Maffi Dona (2019) and directed the Malayalam short film Kazhchakal. He wrote and directed Sharathhettante Kanakkupusthakam starring Vinu Mohan and Kalabhavan Shajon, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. His recent works include writing and directing the bilingual project Sheela (2023) and serving as post-production coordinator for Rudhiram (2024).
