Azeezah Hashim (born 1999) is a Kenyan media personality, television presenter, and radio host. She is best known as the host of the entertainment programme 10 Over 10 on Citizen TV, a role she took up in 2023 as the successor to Willis Raburu.[1][2]
Early life and education
[edit]Hashim was born in Nairobi in 1999 and grew up in the city's Eastlands area.[3] She attended Kenya High School and later enrolled at the University of Nairobi, initially to study medicine before changing course to journalism and media studies.[3]
Career

[edit]Hashim began her broadcasting career at NRG Radio, where she co-hosted the NRG Breakfast programme.[1] In 2024 she joined Royal Media Services' Hot 96 FM to host a mid-morning entertainment show.[4]
Television
[edit]Her television work included hosting the youth entertainment show Teen Republik on NTV, which she left in August 2023 after about two years.[2] In October 2023 she was named a host of Citizen TV's Friday-night entertainment show 10 Over 10, succeeding Willis Raburu, alongside co-host Gudah Man.[1][2]
Event hosting
[edit]In November 2025, Hashim co-hosted the 19th edition of The Future Awards Africa in Lagos, Nigeria. Kenyan media reported her as the first East African to host the pan-African ceremony.[5]
