Atombeam is an American data technology company headquartered in Moraga, California. Founded in 2017, the company develops data compaction and transmission technologies for applications in telecommunications, industrial Internet of Things (IoT), defense, satellite communications, and artificial intelligence.[1][2][3][4][5]
History
[edit]Atombeam was founded in September 2017 by Asghar Riahi, technology product specialist, and CEO Charles Yeomans.[citation needed] Atombeam has developed a portfolio of over 165 patents[6] and has brought its software to the defense, energy, and satellite sectors.[7][8][9][10][11]
Atombeam is backed by more than 10,000 investors.[12][13][14]
Technology
[edit]Machine learning-driven compaction software that merges data reduction, searchability, and security into one software algorithm.[15] Rather than sending raw data, Neurpac converts the raw data into compact codewords to optimize bandwidth. It processes data in larger amounts while improving transmission security.[5][16]
PCM is an AI solution under development. Unlike current Large Language Models, PCM learns continuously, from experience.[17]
