Asset Panda is a cloud-based asset management and inventory tracking platform delivered through a software as a service (SaaS) model.[1]

The platform is designed to help organizations track and manage physical assets, including equipment and information technology infrastructure, through web-based and mobile applications.

Features

[edit]

Asset Panda includes tools for asset tracking, inventory management, and workflow automation. The platform supports asset identification through barcode scanning and mobile device integration, allowing users to monitor asset status, location, and condition.[2]

Additional features include asset check-in and check-out, service ticket management, reporting tools, and customizable workflows. According to PCMag, the platform allows users to configure asset records using custom data fields and role-based access controls.[3]

The software supports multi-tenant environments, enabling organizations to manage assets across departments or clients within a single system.

Development

[edit]

Asset Panda was initially released in 2012. The platform has been expanded over time to include mobile scanning, barcode tracking, and enhanced reporting capabilities.

In 2025, the platform introduced an updated version referred to as Asset Panda Pro, which included a redesigned interface and additional functionality such as offline mobile capabilities and automation tools.[4]

Later in 2025, additional artificial intelligence-related features were introduced to support asset management workflows.[5]

Reception

[edit]

Asset Panda has been reviewed by technology publications including PCMag, TechRadar, and Forbes Advisor. Reviews have highlighted the platform’s customization capabilities, mobile functionality, and flexibility for organizations of different sizes.[3][2][1]
