Anatolis Spyrlidis (born 1985), widely known by his artistic pseudonym RoyalVenom and frequently cited in media publications as Anatolios Spyrlidis, is a contemporary visual artist, muralist, and calligraffiti writer based in Paphos, Cyprus.
In recognition of his contributions to the cultural landscape, Spyrlidis was honored as one of the "XX Successful People of the Republic of Cyprus" in the Art & Culture category in 2020.
Career
[edit]Spyrlidis works within the calligraffiti movement, executing large-scale typographical public installations and murals. In 2020, he completed a 4×6 meter public mural commission titled "ELEMENTS: Earth | Sea | Sun | Life" located in Chlorakas, Paphos, which received structural backing from the Cyprus Youth Board.[1]
His visual work and mural installations are featured in the street art documentation book Walled Island: Street Art of Cyprus.[2] Outside of physical installations, he operates as a visual designer and creative director.
