Amit Singhal is a British technology executive, engineering leader, author, and speaker. He has held senior engineering leadership roles across the telecommunications, software, and financial services industries, including positions at BT, Zendesk, and JPMorgan Chase.[1]

Career

Singhal has worked in engineering and technology leadership roles across telecommunications, SaaS, consumer technology, and financial services.

According to TelcoTitans, he served as Director of Engineering at BT before joining JPMorgan Chase as Senior Director, leading payments platform engineering in Europe and the Middle East.[2]

His professional work has included engineering leadership across digital platforms, enterprise technology transformation, payments systems, and large-scale consumer applications.[3]

Recognition

In 2024, Singhal received the Next CIO Award – Future Digital Leader, recognising emerging technology leaders in the United Kingdom.[4]

In 2026, he was shortlisted in the Computing UK Digital Technology Leaders Awards in the categories of AI Leader of the Year, CTO of the Year (Large Enterprise), and Digital Hero of the Year (Large Enterprise).[5]

Singhal has participated in public discussions and workshops on enterprise AI and agentic AI systems, including events organised with Anthropic and Bounteous in London.[6]
