Amit Mahato was born on 15 August 1989 in India.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specializations in International Marketing (IM) and International Business (IB).

Professional career

Before becoming active in social movements, Mahato worked in the corporate sector for more than five years. His experience includes enterprise business-to-business (B2B) sales, strategic business development, branding, and team management in technology-based organizations.

Social activism

Amit Mahto has been active in social and public movements since 2017. His work has focused on community welfare, public awareness, and issues affecting the Kurmi community.

He has participated in campaigns concerning the demand for Scheduled Tribe (ST) status for the Kurmi community, and has addressed public meetings and demonstrations in Jharkhand and neighbouring states. His speeches and activities have been covered by regional media and digital news platforms.
