The African Youth Choir (French: Chœur Africain des Jeunes) is an African youth choir. Organised by the Confédération Africaine de Musique Chorale since 2012, it holds an annual summer camp followed by performances and recordings.[1] The choir aims to develop choral singing skills in young Africans and to stimulate a deeper connection to African culture and an openness to other cultures. It has also attended a number of international choir festivals, including the World Symposium on Choral Music in 2014[2], Choralies in 2016[3] and Africa Cantat in 2023.
