Adrian Karvinen is an Australian music executive and talent manager. He is the founder of the entertainment company Fire Club Inc and was previously vice president of music business and partnerships at Hume, a Web3 entertainment company that creates virtual artists.[1][2]
Career
[edit]Early career
[edit]Karvinen began his career in Australia, working in artists and repertoire (A&R) alongside Michael Taylor of Universal Music Group. He then moved to Stockholm, where he worked with Daniel Ledinsky and Michel Petre as International Exploitation Manager for Family Tree Music/Sony Music Sweden, before relocating to London.[3] He launched the management company Big Wednesday Management in 2013.[3]
Three Six Zero
[edit]In 2015, Karvinen joined the Los Angeles office of management firm Three Six Zero Group (later Three Six Zero), bringing with him client acts including Say Lou Lou, Miamigo, Kyiki, and James Malone.[3] During his time at the company he represented the production duo Jarami (Frank Ocean, Camilla Cabello, Dua Lipa), Say Lou Lou, and RCA Records-signed artist Skott.[4]
Fire Club Inc
[edit]In 2018, Karvinen formed his own boutique firm, Fire Club Inc, which represented the Australian artist Starley, known for her 2016 single "Call on Me".[4][5]
Snafu Records
[edit]In February 2020, Karvinen joined Snafu Records, a part-Stockholm-based, "AI-enabled" independent record label that had recently launched with $2.9 million in venture capital backing, as Director of North America, based in Los Angeles.[4][5] Reporting by Music Business Worldwide credits him with developing the label's North American operations during the COVID-19 pandemic and signing records from Hitboy, Big Sean, Iamnotshane and Confetti, and states that in 2022 he moved to leading Snafu's catalogue acquisition arm, Fine.Art, where, according to a press release, he funded $2 million in catalogue acquisitions within eight months.[2]
Hume
[edit]In January 2023, Hume, a Web3 entertainment company that creates virtual artists, appointed Karvinen vice president of music business and partnerships, responsible for building partnerships between its virtual artists - which the company calls "metastars" - and brands and recording artists.[1][2][6] His hire was announced alongside Hume's $11.7 million raise from investors including TCG Crypto, Winklevoss Capital and Gmoney.[2]
Deathpixie
[edit]Karvinen is a co-creator of the virtual artist Deathpixie.[7] In 2025, Deathpixie signed to deadmau5's label mau5trap and released the single "Raise Your Weapon".[8] In November 2025, Deathpixie performed at Red Rocks Amphitheatre as part of deadmau5's two-night Day of the deadmau5 shows.[9]
Personal life
