Adam Kleber (born March 24, 2006) is an ice hockey defenseman and prospect for the Buffalo Sabres who currently competes on the collegiate level for the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs. He was drafted 42nd overall in the 2024 NHL entry draft.
Playing career
[edit]Adam Kleber played two seasons for the Lincoln Stars in the USHL from 2022 until 2024. During his second season he had the most points for a defender on the team, and fifth in points overall on the team.[1] In the 2023-24 season Kleber was named to the All-Academic Team after graduating from high school with a 3.9 GPA.[2]He committed to playing at University of Minnesota Duluth in August 2022 after having been drafted by the Lincoln Stars in the USHL draft and the Portland Winterhawks in the WHL draft.[3] Kleber returned to Duluth for the 25-26 season.[4]
International play
[edit]In 2023 Kleber competed in the Hlinka Gretzky Cup and the 2023 World Jr. A Challenge in Truro, Nova Scotia representing Team USA.[5][6] In both tournaments the US took home bronze. At the 2025 World Juniors, Kleber helped the US bring home their second consecutive gold medal.[7] Kleber was once again named to the World Juniors team for the 2026 tournament. [8]
