Aaron Borg (born October 6th 1990 in Sydney) is an Australian racing driver from Sydney.[1] He won the V8 SuperUte Series in 2022 and 2023, and the Toyota 86 Racing Series in 2019.[2][3][4]
Career
[edit]Toyota 86 Racing Series
[edit]Borg took his first win in the Toyota 86 Racing Series at Bathurst in October 2019, winning two of the three races at the round.[5] He won both Saturday races at Sandown the following month to take the championship lead,[6] and secured his first title in the series at the Newcastle finale.[4]
V8 SuperUte Series
[edit]Borg won the 2022 SuperUtes Series driving a Holden Colorado for the ACDelco Sieders Racing Team, sealing the title at the Gold Coast 500.[2][7] For 2023 he stayed with Sieders Racing Team, moving to an Isuzu D-Max and carrying the number 1.[7] Despite missing the round at The Bend while overseas, he retained the title at the Gold Coast finale, finishing four points ahead of Adam Marjoram.[3]
For 2024 Borg joined Team Motion Racing, formed when Motion expanded its sponsorship of Team Triton and rebranded the team, alongside Marjoram.[8] Marjoram won the 2024 championship, with Borg finishing second.[9] Borg finished fourth in the 2025 SuperUtes Series Championship, which was won by David Sieders.[10]
Personal life
[edit]Borg has said that he was born with a heart condition and underwent open-heart surgery at the age of seven.[11]
