The 791 (KuMoYa 791) series was a Japanese non-revenue electric multiple unit operated by the Japanese National Railways from 1959 to May 1980 for inspection purposes.

The 791 series car featured a squared-off design similar to the 153 series cars but featured a single headlight mounted on the roof.
