Doug McNamee is an American college athletics administrator. He is the athletic director at Baylor University, a position he has held since 2025.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]McNamee grauated from Baylor in 2003 with a BA in speech communications and a MEd in sports management in 2005.
Career
[edit]McNamee began his career at IMG College, rising quickly to general manager for Baylor's multimedia portfolio, where he led sponsorship strategy, partnership development and revenue optimization. McNamee returned to Baylor as vice president and director of intercollegiate athletics on December 8, 2026, after successful stints as president of Waco-based Magnolia.
