The Development of Inventions Act 1967 (c. 32) is an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that consolidated enactments related to the development and exploitation of inventions in the United Kingdom.[1]

Subsequent developments
[edit]The act was amended by Part III of the Industry Act 1975, which modified the financial provisions relating to the National Research Development Corporation.[3]
Sections 2 to 13, section 15(3) to (8), and paragraphs 4 to 8 of the schedule to the act were repealed by section 17(2) of, and part I of schedule 2 to, the British Technology Group Act 1991, which came into force on 6 January 1992.[4] The remaining provisions of the act — section 1, section 15(1) and (2), and the schedule so far as unrepealed — are to be repealed on the dissolution of the National Research Development Corporation by section 17(2) of, and part II of schedule 2 to, the British Technology Group Act 1991.
