Delisle is an unincorporated community in Darke County, in the U.S. state of Ohio.[1]

History

[edit]

Delisle was platted by Catherine Fairchild[citation needed] in 1850 when the railroad was extended to that point.[2] Delisle also had a schoolhouse until 1951, at which time students began attending schools in nearby Arcanum.[3] A post office was established at Delisle in 1856, and remained in operation until 1993.[4]
