Christina Goldbaum is a journalist for The New York Times. She was named the newspaper's Beirut bureau chief in 2025.[1] That year, she shared the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting with Azam Ahmed and Matthieu Aikins for reporting on United States policy failures in Afghanistan. [2][3]
Goldbaum received the 2018 Livingston Award for Excellence in International Reporting while reporting for The Daily Beast.[4] The same year, she received the National Press Club's Edwin M. Hood Award for Diplomatic Correspondence for reporting on United States Special Forces operations in Somalia. [5]
