Chlorocytus is a genus of wasps belonging to the family Pteromalidae.[1]
The species of this genus are found in Europe, North America, Asia, and Southern Africa.[1]
Records in Mexico
[edit]The pteromalid wasp Chlorocytus languriae is reported for the first time in Mexico (Ashmead, 1896) as parasitoid of the soybean petiole borer (Languria mozardi), in soybean. The state of Tamaulipas and San Luis Potosí are the southernmost places where it was recorded.[2]
