Choghapit (Persian: چغاپيت)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Tarhan-e Gharbi Rural District[3] in Tarhan District of Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran.
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population, as Chapit-e Sofla, was 1,104 in 221 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 955 people in 218 households, by which time the village was listed as Choghapit.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 713 people in 203 households.[1]
