Catherine Taft is an art critic, curator, and writer.[1][2] Taft has been published in Artforum,[3][4] i-D Magazine,[5] Modern Painters,[6][7] ArtReview, Metropolis-M,[8][9] Kaleidoscope Publishing, and multiple exhibition catalogs and artist books.[1][10] She cowrote Part-Objects, an artist book for Scott Benzel that was published by Human Resources and Lockitch Press.[11][12][13]

Taft was a Curatorial Associate in the department of Architecture and Contemporary Art of the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles.[10] She helped organize the Pacific Standard Time: Art in Los Angeles (2011).[14][15]
