No category description
[edit]This page needs to define "free". It is an ambiguous term. The "free software portal" is suggestive of intent.

Thanks. I wonder if more is needed to stop people constantly adding things like Adobe Reader, Foxit Reader, Brava Reader. It's probably to late to suggest a different term than "free software" (such as "open source software") be standardised upon? Notinasnaid 20:09, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think more is needed, the clarification seems to be enough for other categories, and the handful of pre-standardisation categories that have "open source" in their name have the problem of invalid entries to about the same degree. Gronky 07:24, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Ok. I'm not really sure it's enough as I've already had to remove Foxit Reader, Brava Reader from the category once... but time will tell.
