This is an administrative category, used for maintenance of the Wikipedia project. It is not part of the encyclopedia and contains non-article pages, or groups articles by status rather than subject. Do not include this category in content categories (except for eponymous maintenance categories).
Be advised, long ago BetacommandBot created the Category pages with a different name than the Project page. The Template:WPBannerMeta required Category:WikiProject Lists articles. However Category:WikiProject Lists articles by quality does not exist, instead this project uses Category:List articles by quality.
