Caducifer is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Prodotiidae.[1]
General characteristics
[edit](Original description) The shell is small and subcylindrical, with the upper fourth of the spire self-amputated in the adult stage. It bears a single terminal varix. The sculpture consists of distinct axial ribs intersected by fine spiral threading, while the sutures are closely appressed. The nature of the nucleus and the presence or form of the operculum remain unknown. [2]
