Bright Jacob
Bright Onyebuchi Jacob is a Nigerian politician and a former chairman of Oyigbo Local Government Council.[1] He is a member of the Rivers State People's Democratic Party, and is the current Commissioner of Commerce and Industry since December 2015.[2][3]
Political career
[edit]Bright Jacob is a Nigerian politician from Rivers State. He previously served as Chairman of Oyigbo Local Government Council before being appointed Commissioner for Commerce and Industry by Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike in December 2015. He served as a member of the Rivers State Executive Council during the first Wike administration.
In 2018, Jacob left the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was received into the party alongside other political figures from Rivers State.[4][5][6]
