Boris Mikhin

Boris Mikhin (Russian: Михин, Борис Александрович, romanized: Mikhin, Boris Aleksandrovich (1881–April 11, 1963) was a Russian and Soviet film director, screenwriter, artist, film producer, one of the founders of the Mosfilm film studio.[1][2][3]

In 1909 he graduated from Kharkov University. After various odd jobs he joins the film studio of Aleksandr Khanzhonkov.[4]

In 1926 he was arrested on the accusation of wrecking (sabotage) in film industry, acquitted, in 1934 arrested again and spend several months in confinement. After that he left film industry.[4]
