Block Blast! is a puzzle game[3][4] launched in 2021. It is available for iPad, Android, and iPhone devices.[5] It is a game where users have to combine colored blocks.[6] Designed with numerous levels,[7] the puzzle game usually leads the charts in terms of downloads.[8][9] As of January 2026, it was the world's most downloaded game.[10] By March of the same year, its MAUs had reached 300 million.[11] It comes in Classic and Adventure Master modes.[12]
Developed by Hungry Studio,[13] it is a widely used mobile game,[14] and is often compared to Roblox.[15][16] It's a F2P game, but it contains in-app ads.[17] Although it was introduced as an online game,[18] it supports offline play.[19] As a casual game,[20] it provides simple gameplay,[21] but it's not easy to get a high score.[22] In addition, in this game, extra points can be earned through combos.[23] In April 2026, it appeared at the Coachella Music Festival.[24]
History
[edit]Block Blast! was established in 2021.[25] In September 2025, it entered into a collaboration with Govee.[26] As of January 2026, the daily active users of the game reached 70 million.[27]
In May 2026, Block Blast! attended the GameVerse Expo in Vietnam.[28] By June of the same year, the puzzle game had operated in several markets, such as the U.S., Italy, and Brazil.[29]
