Bigg Boss Agnipareeksha is an upcoming spin-off and pre-show of the Indian Malayalam-language reality television show Bigg Boss.[1] The pre-show involves selecting commoner contestants for the main show. The format of the show is based on the Telugu-language television show Bigg Boss Agnipariksha.[2][3]
The show will be hosted by Reneesha Rahiman with Ranjini Haridas, Riyas Salim and Akhil Marar as judges. The first season set to air from 15 August 2026. The winners will compete as contestants in the main house of Bigg Boss season 8.[4][5][6]
Production
[edit]The show was officially unveiled through a promotional teaser released on 21 May 2026, coinciding with Mohanlal's birthday.[7] The contestants are asked to send their introduction video on the official website.[8] Out of this, selected 40 contestants will compete for entry to Main House.[9] Asianet has officially announced the grand launch on 15 August 2026. [10][11]
