BestChange is a cryptocurrency exchange rate aggregator.

Operations

[edit]

BestChange is an intermediary aggregator that connects users to third-party exchange services providers working with fiat currencies, electronic money, and cryptocurrencies.[1][2][3] It serves as an information layer, that analyzes 52,000 currency pairs on 670 third-party services and helps users find better exchange rates, but doesn't store user funds or execute transactions.[4]

BestChange only list exchange services with a history of operations, compliance with FATF standards, clear exchange terms, and a capable customer support.[5][6] The platform limits information about services that proceed questionable funds and may pose regulatory risks for users.[7]

The platform provides sorting and filtering by currency, exchangers' reputation and reviews, may display certain geographic or jurisdiction-related limitations where such information is available or provided by exchangers.[1] It suggests direct exchanges and multi-step operations that involve one or more transit currencies.[8] The platform's extensive base of user reviews reached 2,7 million units in over 19 years.[9][4]

BestChange can be used via mobile apps (for iOS, Android, and Huawei devices), website, browser extensions, Telegram chatbot, and Telegram mini app.[4][1]

The platform's anti-money laundering analyzer enables pre-transaction risk assessment based on wallet and transaction check across over 80 cryptocurrencies and tokens, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Gram, and stablecoins, such as Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC).[10][1]

History

In Russia, BestChange has faced access restrictions amid digital currency regulation.[11][12] The access to the platform was restricted in 2017, 2019, 2020, but the restrictions were lifted shortly each timne.[13] Since 2022, Bestchange is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[14]
