Benun (Persian: بنون, also Romanized as Benūn; also known as Benyūn and Benūn-e Mashāyekh)[1] is a village in Lisar Rural District, Kargan Rud District, Talesh County, Gilan Province, Iran.
At the 2006 census, its population was 164, in 32 families.[2] The following census in 2011 reported a permanent population of 0, stating that it is populated from May to October.[3] The 2016 census measured the permanent population of the village as 169 people in 46 households.[4]
