Amblochilus is a genus of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae.[1] It is monotypic, being represented by the single species, Amblochilus bicolor, which is found in Australia (south-eastern Queensland).[2][3]
Description
[edit]Adults reach a length of about 11–15 mm (0.43–0.59 in). The head, pronotum and scutellum are green, while the elytra are dark yellow brown and the pygidium and ventral surface reddish black.[3]
