Al Checco (July 21, 1921 – July 19, 2015) was an American film, television and theatre actor.[1] Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,[2] he was known for playing the role of Bernard Stein in the 1968 film The Party.[3]

Checco was the partner of actor Don Knotts when they were performing entertainers in Special Services to soldiers during World War II.[4] He died on July 19, 2015 of natural causes at his home in Studio City, California, at the age of 93.[4]
