The 13th Tennessee Infantry Regiment, commonly known as the "Thirteenth Tennessee", was a line infantry formation of the Confederate States Army in the Western Theater of the American Civil War.
History
[edit]The regiment saw service at the battles of Shiloh, Chickamauga, and Franklin.[1] Company I captured the national colors of the 57th Indiana Infantry Regiment at the Battle of Franklin on November 30, 1864. It was returned to the 57th Indiana at their reunion in Kokomo on September 23, 1885.[2]
