Draft translation request: Michael Hauskeller
[edit]Hello, I am writing to openly disclose that I am the subject of this request (Professor Michael Hauskeller, Head of Philosophy at the University of Liverpool). I am looking for a volunteer editor to help establish an English Wikipedia biographical page for me. A well-sourced article about my work already exists on the German Wikipedia at de:Michael Hauskeller, and I meet the platform's academic notability guidelines (WP:PROF). To make the process easier and fully compliant with community standards, an objective, neutrally worded draft has been prepared with full citation markups and my correct publication bibliography. I have pasted the complete wiki-text markup below inside the drop-down box. Would an independent volunteer editor be willing to review this text, move it into the draft space, or publish it? Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Hypermodernism
[edit]The articles at Hypermodernism (art) and Hypermodernity have no inline citations, and they seem like they should be merged. Would be great for somebody with some experience with working on this type of article to take a look. Dreamyshade (talk) 01:38, 29 July 2026 (UTC)

Suggestions for more articles
[edit]I have been updating the various "philosophies by region" in Europe. This has made me aware of a number of articles I think we should have on the philosophical side of wikipedia. Allow me to add more if I remember more.
- via antiqua and via moderna as ways to say realism v. nominalism
- "Clear and distinct ideas". Relevant to both Descartes and Peirce, yet this concept has no article all its own.
- In reviewing the article premise, I noticed for some reason existential import is part of empty domain rather than its own article. Whether empty domain has something to do with it or not, it deserves its own article.
Husserl's book Logical Investigations has no article.I made one.- None of Pierre Charron's books have articles, eg Les Trois Vérités
- A number of important philosophers have articles on the foreign language wikipedias which are lacking on the English wiki, such as Gottfried Ploucquet and August Friedrich Bök. Ploucquet is the figure between Leibniz and Lambert in the little bit of German logic at the time. Jules Lagneau was a major French "spiritualist" philosopher.
- The German Thomists John of Lichtenberg, Heinrich of Lubeck, and Gerhard and Johann Sterngasse.
- English emotion man Erroll Bedford.
- Some articles I made myself were Guy De Bruès and Thomas Wizenmann and Thomas of Buckingham. If you can expand them, please do. Obviously, I don't know very much about them. There was an influential Dutch Cartesian with the name Tobias Andreae 200 years before the painter. He taught Clauberg, who is the link between Descartes and German philosophers. - One of these days I'll actually get off my ass and write Overcoding and Microfascism to improve our representation of Deleuzean concepts. Simonm223 (talk) 17:34, 7 August 2026 (UTC)
- If you are familiar with Deleuze then I would ask you to review any mention of him on the French philosophy article. I speak English, so I am no continental philosophy expert. Not sure what "duration of difference-in-itself" is getting at but I dare not delete it. Cake (talk) 17:36, 7 August 2026 (UTC)
