About
This template is designed for use on set index articles which only contain links to articles for roads associated with a specific title. It displays a notice on the page and includes it in Category:Lists of roads sharing the same title (a subcategory of Category:Set index articles). This is not intended for disambiguation pages; a separate template for road disambiguation pages exists at {{Road disambiguation}}.
Usage
When {{Short description|none}} already exists at the top of the page, and {{Road index}}'s default short description is being displayed undesirably, use |sd=none to force removal of {{Road index}}'s default short description, typically on List of highways numbered 1A-type pages.
