This template is used for all gridiron football teams, including NFL, CFL, indoor/arena football, and other leagues. It was created by merging the previous {{Infobox American football team}}, {{Infobox indoor American football team}}, {{Infobox Pre-modern NFL team}}, {{Infobox UFL team}}, {{Infobox USFL team}}, {{Infobox national American football team}}, and {{Infobox FCF team}} templates to {{Infobox NFL team}}.
